30 AUG SILVERBIRCH HOTELS & RESORTS APPOINTS SEAN DOUCET AS SENIOR DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts (“SilverBirch”) is pleased to announce that Sean Doucet has been appointed Senior Director of Operations. Mr. Doucet will lead the operations of all hotels within the SilverBirch managed hotel portfolio.

“With more than 20 years of experience in hotel leadership roles, Sean has built a highly successful career and we are pleased to have him join SilverBirch’s Corporate team,” said Mark Medland, SilverBirch’s Senior Vice President of Asset Management. “Sean brings a wide range of expertise to his new position, is a proven leader, and will be instrumental in the execution of our strategic plan”

Prior to this role, Mr. Doucet held the position of General Manager at the Hotel Halifax and The Barrington Hotel. Mr. Doucet holds a Culinary Arts Degree and is a Certified Executive Chef and a Certified Sommelier.
