16 JUN SILVERBIRCH HOTELS & RESORTS APPOINTS ANITA WONG AS VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE

VANCOUVER, BC, June 16, 2021 – SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts (“SilverBirch”) is pleased to announce that Anita Wong has been appointed as Vice President of Finance.  Ms. Wong will be responsible for leading the finance function in respect of financial reporting, strategic financial analysis and planning, treasury and debt management, taxation, risk management, business processes and related controls.

Since 2015, Ms. Wong has held progressively senior finance positions at Silverbirch.   Prior to Silverbirch, Ms. Wong was a senior manager at Smythe LLP, a Vancouver based mid-sized accounting firm, where she provided audit, tax and business advisory services to a variety of public and private companies.  Ms. Wong is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.
